Renate and I went to the tasting for the reopening of the Catamount Restaurant at the Emerson Lodge. Besides a few kids we were the youngest ones there. It was a riot! Most of the food was served as a buffet that was, well, a buffet. Enough said. What was great were the Buffalo Wings and BBQ Ribs they had out on the bar and the Salmon and Beef Brisket hors d'oeuvres they were passing around. Both were topped with a dollop of Parsley Mashed Potatoes. Yum! The place is perfect to get cozy and have Country Comfort Food.
