CHRISTMAS DAY

The day started early at the new home of Karl Åberg and Johnny Roberson in Phoenicia, NY. Lynne Hiriak, Creighton Bowman, Daniel Umlauf and Aude Tabet were their guests for the weekend and we arrived about 2 p.m. Renate, Roger and Paco Blancas arrived later. The food was fantastic... Salmon, White Fish, Beef Stew, Mashed Potatoes, Brussels Sprouts with Bacon, Swedish Meatballs, Green Beans and Baked Ham. And, of course, in this crowd the Prosecco and Red Wine flowed like the Esopus River.

BAR 89

I love Bar 89. It's in SoHo, NYC and straight out of American Psycho. It has the best 80's downtown feel to it with it's ever changing art installations. You can always get a table and the portions are huge. Renate, Christopher Schulz and I went there for dinner the night of his birthday. He had the Nachos which were just Chips, Cheese and Jalapeños. Perfect! I had the Au Poivre Burger. Straight up greasy Bar Food around the corner from Chanel. Fabulous! Roger Griffin called while we were eating and swung by at the end. I think we're getting together for dinner Upstate this weekend. Stay tuned.
